THE FREE BLACK WOMEN’S LIBRARY-DETROIT
The Free Black Women’s Library-Detroit is a free, Black feminist collection and mobile pop-up library that centers the voices and stories of Black women and femme authors.
Inspired by the work of artist OlaRonke Akinmowo, who founded The Free Black Women's Library in Brooklyn, NY, we seek to provide representation, education, and liberation for Black femme voices through the consumption of literature and community trading.
